Madison Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Grissom, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Madison Academy's pitchers stepped up to hand Grissom a 15-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Madison Academy's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Grissom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Coming up, Madison Academy will head out to face off against Whitesburg Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grissom, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Grissom Tigers challenge Huntsville Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
