Football Game Preview: Robbinsville Black Knights vs. East Columbus Gators

The Robbinsville Black Knights will face off against the East Columbus Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Robbinsville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Andrews 56-7. The Black Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 29 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Luke Lovin, who threw for 62 yards and two TDs on only five passes.

Robbinsville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 360 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 292 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Columbus). They came out on top against North Stokes by a score of 32-21 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Gators as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
