Spring Hill won the last time they faced Louisburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Spring Hill Broncos took down the Louisburg Wildcats 57-41. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Wildcats are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Spring Hill found their leader in sophomore Jackson Bruce, who went 10-for-18 en route to 23 points and five rebounds. Evan Brown was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Spring Hill and bumps their season record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Louisburg, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Looking ahead, Spring Hill will challenge Ottawa at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ottawa knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Spring Hill likes a good challenge. As for Louisburg, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats take on the Cardinals on Tuesday.
