Soccer Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson was the 2-1 winner over Loyola Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Ramblers by a score of 1-0 on Monday. That's two games in a row now that Stevenson have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Stevenson and nudges their season record down to 4-2-1. As for Loyola Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stevenson will take on Lane Tech at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Loyola Academy, they will challenge De La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
