Simla waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Kit Carson Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cubs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-8.

Carlee Cox paced Simla's offense, picking up 17 kills. Cox got some help from Trenna Kocerha and her 21 assists. Brynlee Amendt controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Simla's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Kit Carson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Simla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Dayspring Christian Academy on the 27th. As for Kit Carson, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against La Veta on the 27th.
