Volleyball Game Preview: Bell Gardens Lancers vs. San Gabriel Matadors

The Bell Gardens Lancers will challenge the San Gabriel Matadors at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bell Gardens is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Bell Gardens beat Magnolia 3-1.

Bell Gardens had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-20.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Gabriel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Schurr last Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Matadors in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.

Bell Gardens' win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for San Gabriel, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
