Soccer Preview: Washington Township vs. Westville        
        
		
             Washington Township is 10-0 against Westville since September of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Washington Township Senators are on the road again  to play the Westville Blackhawks at 4:30  p.m. Westville took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Washington Township, who comes in off a win.
 Washington Township will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  goals  on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Victory Christian Academy  on Friday. Washington Township was the clear victor by  a  7-3 margin over Victory Christian Academy. It was an even better day for  Owen Gilbert as  he scored four goals for  his team.
 Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Westville's offense. They fell just short of Michigan City by a score of  1-0 on Tuesday. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Washington Township's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Westville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-6.
 Everything went Washington Township's way against Westville when the teams last played  back in August of 2023 as Washington Township made off with  a  9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Washington Township since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
