Football Recap: Randolph Falls to Chambers/Wheeler Central in First Game of Season

Randolph kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades 36-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Renegades: they've now lost three in a row.

Michael Jesse had an outrageously good game for Chambers/Wheeler Central as he threw for 131 yards and four TDs. Those four passing touchdowns gave Jesse a new career-high. Trey Blackmore also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Looking ahead, Randolph will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Archangels Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they will venture away from home to challenge North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
