Basketball Recap: Burlington-Edison Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last seven matches, Burlington-Edison finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Anacortes Seahawks, falling 48-23. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Burlington-Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Anacortes, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Burlington-Edison will venture away from home to square off against Nooksack Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Nooksack Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Anacortes, they will host Meridian at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
