Baseball Game Preview: Orchard Park Quakers vs. Clarence Red Devils

The Orchard Park Quakers will take on the Clarence Red Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Orchard Park managed to slip by St. Mary's the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Quakers lost 13-1 to the Lancers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Quakers have suffered since May 8, 2025.

Orchard Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Staniszewski, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Jacob Deitz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Clarence waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Crusaders.

Noah Hanes was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Jackson Bugg was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Orchard Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Clarence, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
