Volleyball Recap: Kewaskum's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Kewaskum and Xavier squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Kewaskum had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Hawks. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bella Velasquez was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last nine matches.

Kewaskum moved to 19-18 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Xavier, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 29-10.

Kewaskum does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Xavier, they will challenge Winneconne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
