Volleyball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Stockdale on Tuesday, Frontier came back down to earth. The Titans fell just short of the Liberty Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Frontier took Liberty into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-15, 25-27, 15-10.

Ameira Hardin paced Frontier's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hardin got some help from Addisyn Gardenhire and her 30 assists. Gardenhire was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Frontier moved to 14-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Liberty, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Frontier will square off against rival Garces Memorial at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Liberty is set to face off against their familiar foe Centennial at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
