Volleyball Preview: Everglades Gators vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders
The Everglades Gators will head out on the road to take on the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Everglades turned things around against Franklin Academy on Wednesday. They blew past the Panthers 3-0. The Gators not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24, 2024.
Everglades not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Franklin Academy between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-17.
St. Thomas Aquinas extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Adriano Chiabra.
