Softball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Woodland Cardinals. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bobcats were not able to get on the board.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Woodland, they moved to 4-11 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Delta will be playing at home against Scott County Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.23 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. Woodland has already played their next matchup (against Arcadia Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
