Madison Plains extended their postseason success on Saturday against North Union. They put the hurt on the North Union Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Eagles sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

While Madison Plains won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Madison Plains had a senior duo take command as Addison Hawkins had seven digs and four aces and Kiana Gabler had 12 digs. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Hawkins.

When it comes to explaining why North Union lost, don't look at Emma Mcelroy. Despite the final result, she had ten digs. Mcelroy has been hot , having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Madison Plains has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for North Union, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.
