Softball Recap: Pollok Central Comes Up Short

Pollok Central fell victim to Huntington and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Pollok Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Huntington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pollok Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Woodville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huntington will take on rival Diboll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
