Basketball Recap: Washington Waldorf Comes Up Short

Washington Waldorf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-22 loss at the hands of the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls. Washington Waldorf was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-12.

Kimberton Waldorf was led to victory by Camron Nixon and Ciara O'Hara. Nixon went 11 for 21 on her way to 25 points in addition to eight boards and five steals, while O'Hara posted 17 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. O'Hara's afternoon made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ncebakazi Saul, who had four points.

Washington Waldorf's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kimberton Waldorf, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Waldorf will welcome Don Bosco Cristo Rey at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cristo Rey Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
