Basketball Recap: Grand Haven Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Grand Haven entered their tilt with East Kentwood on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 56-44 win over the East Kentwood Falcons. The Buccaneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Grand Haven's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for East Kentwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Grand Haven will face off against Caledonia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Grand Haven knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Caledonia likes a good challenge. As for East Kentwood, they will challenge University of Detroit Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University of Detroit Jesuit will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something East Kentwood surely won't give up without a fight.
