Baseball Game Preview: Alief Elsik Rams vs. Foster Falcons

The Alief Elsik Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Foster Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alief Elsik has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Alief Elsik is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against Alief Hastings on Thursday, falling 19-9.

Christian Holloway made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Anthony Dominguez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Foster posted their closest win since February 28th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against George Ranch, sneaking past 11-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Stringer, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Hunter Maddox, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Foster's victory bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Alief Elsik, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-11.
