Volleyball Recap: Highlands Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sports Leadership & Management last Monday, Highlands Christian came back down to earth. The Highlands Christian Knights fell 3-1 to the Deerfield Beach Bucks on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 21-25, 25-16.

Brandon Lee paced Highlands Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Lee got some help from Corbin Shein and his 15 assists.

Zeryc Chalmers was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 25 assists and eight digs. He has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last eight times he's played.

Highlands Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

After both having extra time off, Highlands Christian and Trinity Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Deerfield Beach, they will host Plantation at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
