Legacy Christian Academy is a perfect 6-0 against Laton since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Last Tuesday, Legacy Christian Academy beat Orange Cove 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Caden Nunez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Lucas Highfill was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Lincoln Brown was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laton). They were the clear victor by a 21-10 margin over Kings Christian on Wednesday.

Legacy Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Laton, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Legacy Christian Academy took their victory against Laton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-1. Will Legacy Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Laton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
