Basketball Recap: Santiago Skates Past Norco with Ease

Santiago hadn't done well against Norco recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Santiago Sharks breezed by the Norco Cougars to the tune of 64-33. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Ryan Ibbetson and Andrew Hopkins certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Ibbetson posted ten points, while Hopkins scored four points.

Santiago is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Norco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-19.
