Baseball Recap: Hilltop Comes Up Short

Hilltop came into this matchup off a tough eight-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Olympian Eagles by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Lancers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Hilltop saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ricardo De La Torre, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Hilltop's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Olympian, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

As of now, neither Hilltop nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
