Basketball Game Preview: Carver High School of Engineering & Science vs. Audenried

Carver High School of Engineering & Science just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face Audenried at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carver High School of Engineering & Science will be strutting in after a win while Audenried will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Carver High School of Engineering & Science didn't have too much trouble with Northeast as they won 57-41. Given Carver High School of Engineering & Science's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while Northeast is ranked 405th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Audenried lost to Samuel Fels at home by a 66-52 margin on Friday. While Audenried didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Samuel Fels 17-10 in the first quarter.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Audenried, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11-1.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science came up short against Audenried in their previous matchup back in January of 2017, falling 61-55. Can Carver High School of Engineering & Science avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
