Cinnaminson skates past Doane Academy with ease

Recap: Cinnaminson Pirates vs. Doane Academy

Even though the Cinnaminson Pirates have not done well against Doane Academy recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Cinnaminson claimed a resounding 76-49 win over Doane Academy on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-21.

When it comes to explaining why Doane Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nick Fusco. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. The matchup was Fusco's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kameron Fields, who scored ten points.

The victory (which was Cinnaminson's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Doane Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cinnaminson will take on Medford Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Medford Tech has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 645 points over their last nine games. As for Doane Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bordentown at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Bordentown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
