Crean Lutheran won the last time they faced El Dorado and things went their way on Thursday too. The Saints walked away with a 3-1 win over the Golden Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

Crean Lutheran had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-13.

Crean Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for El Dorado, they dropped their record down to 14-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Crean Lutheran and El Dorado should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Saints will take on La Habra at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (19 vs. 588). Meanwhile, El Dorado (ranked 83rd) will meet Yucaipa (ranked 425th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
