Basketball Recap: Antonian Prep's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Antonian Prep easily dispatched St. Pius X last Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Apaches fell just short of the Allen Eagles by a score of 73-71 on Saturday. The loss was the Apaches' first of the season.

Nehemiah Lawrence had an outrageously good game for Allen as he went 10-for-19 en route to 28 points and eight steals. Those 28 points gave Lawrence a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadarian Urune-Williams, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Antonian Prep fell to 3-1. As for Allen, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Antonian Prep has already played their next matchup (against Prestonwood Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Allen, they will head out on the road to take on Highland Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
