Basketball Recap: Mason Comes Up Short

Mason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 77-43 loss at the hands of the Midwest City Bombers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while the Bombers are ranked 21st).

Mason's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Midwest City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Mason wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-22 defeat against Earlsboro on the 21st. Midwest City has also already played their next game (against Duncan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
