Sandia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Centennial Hawks 67-17. The Matadors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Sandia got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hope Giddings out in front who went 8 for 13 on her way to 18 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Audri Wright, who posted ten points in addition to seven steals and five boards.

Sandia was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Centennial only racked up four assists.

Sandia's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Centennial, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Sandia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-36 victory against Catalina Foothills on the 28th. As for Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-29 defeat against Los Lunas on the 28th.
