Football Recap: Central Linn Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Central Linn extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They took a blow against the Waldport Irish, falling 58-14. The Cobras lost against the Irish in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 32-18 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Central Linn lost, don't look at Hank Davidson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 78 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Jacob Helms also deserves some recognition as he passed for his first passing touchdown of the season.

Waldport's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Waldport was led to victory by Kelden McNeil and Daniel Segaline. McNeil rushed for 109 yards and a pair of scores, while Segaline rushed for 142 yards and two TDs on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards McNeil has posted since back in October of 2024.
