Preview: Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors vs. Valley Christian Panthers

Almira-Coulee-Hartline has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Valley Christian Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Tuesday, Almira-Coulee-Hartline came up short against Wilbur-Creston-Keller and fell 53-45. While losing is never fun, Almira-Coulee-Hartline can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Wilbur-Creston-Keller is ranked 27th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Naomi Molitor, who scored 14 points. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. Peyton Roberts was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 74-28 loss at the hands of Wellpinit. Valley Christian has not had much luck with Wellpinit recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline's record now sits at 2-4. Valley Christian's record is now 2-4.

Everything went Almira-Coulee-Hartline's way against Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in January as Almira-Coulee-Hartline made off with a 50-25 win. Will Almira-Coulee-Hartline repeat their success, or does Valley Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
