Having just played yesterday, the Jensen Beach Falcons will get right back to it and host the Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jensen Beach is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.
Jensen Beach easily dispatched Jupiter on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Jensen Beach fell just short of Central by a score of 52-50 on Tuesday. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cobras 19-11 in the first quarter.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jayla Brinkley, who posted three points along with eight boards, five assists, and five steals. That's the most assists she has posted since back in December of 2023. Danielle Bell was another key player, putting up seven points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Somerset College Prep Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Oxbridge Academy on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 52-48 win.
Somerset College Prep Academy found their leader in sophomore Khloe Rodgers, who went 9 of 21 en route to 28 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Rodgers' evening made it 12 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaysha Felix, who earned eight points and 12 rebounds.
Brinkley wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Somerset College Prep Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oxbridge Academy only posted two assists.
The victory got Somerset College Prep Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Jensen Beach, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Jensen Beach has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Somerset College Prep Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
