Baseball Recap: New Albany Comes Up Short

New Albany was the 10-6 winner over Bloomington South when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 10-5 to the Panthers on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braden Brewer led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Elliott, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bloomington South, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

While New Albany had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
