Softball Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short

If Brunswick was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of North Hagerstown last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Brunswick lost 13-0 to the Boonsboro Warriors on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Railroaders of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Boonsboro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brunswick will face off against rival Frederick on Monday. Meanwhile, Boonsboro is set to take on their familiar foe Williamsport at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
