Perry's loss ends three-game winning streak on the road

Recap: Perry Commodores vs. Kenton Wildcats
After a string of three wins, the Perry Commodores's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell to Kenton 56-52. Perry was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kenton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, Perry saw an underclassman step up: Khaliah Luster scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Lexenna Lee was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds.
Perry's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Kenton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Perry will be playing in front of their home fans against Hardin Northern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hardin Northern is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Kenton, they will head out on the road to face off against Celina at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
