Northwest Area was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sullivan County on Wednesday. The Rangers blew past the Griffins 17-4. The result was nothing new for the Rangers, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Dominic Cavuto was incredible, going 3-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Northwest Area always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sullivan County only posted an OBP of .381.

Northwest Area's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Sullivan County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
