Basketball Recap: Shining Rock Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Shining Rock Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Nantahala Hawks, falling 75-50. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 91-61 two weeks ago.

Shining Rock Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Nantahala, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1.

Looking ahead, Shining Rock Classical Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mount Pisgah Academy at 7:30 p.m. As for Nantahala, they will face off against Cherokee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
