Baseball Recap: Vidor Comes Up Short

Vidor lost against Lumberton on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates fell 7-2 to the Raiders. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vidor saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Chessar, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Hayden Law also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Vidor's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Lumberton, they pushed their record up to 20-7-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vidor will take on Silsbee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lumberton, they will face off against West Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
