St. Cloud's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Matanzas hitters got past them. The Bulldogs came up short against the Pirates on Saturday, falling 14-1. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Liberty lost 17-2 to Tohopekaliga on Thursday. The contest marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty and nudges their season record down to 1-7. As for St. Cloud, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.

St. Cloud beat Liberty 6-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
