Volleyball Recap: Holton's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Holton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Wamego Red Raiders by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Holton never let Wamego on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Wamego saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emilly Crocker had ten digs and one assist.

Holton's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Wamego, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Coincidentally, Holton and Wamego will both be playing Royal Valley the next time they take the court. The Red Raiders will host the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
