Basketball Recap: LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Takes a Loss

If LaMoure/Litchville-Marion was feeling good fresh off their 49-26 takedown of Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions on Monday. The Loboes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 64-41.

LaMoure/Litchville-Marion's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 18-4. As for Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither LaMoure/Litchville-Marion nor Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock have any future games scheduled.
