Basketball Recap: Prairie View's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Prairie View lost against Wellsville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Prairie View Buffalos took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wellsville Eagles. The Buffalos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairie View's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4-1. As for Wellsville, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Prairie View will head out to square off against Santa Fe Trail on Friday. Prairie View is facing Santa Fe Trail at the right time seeing as Santa Fe Trail is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Wellsville, they will square off against Osawatomie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wellsville will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Osawatomie will have lost three straight heading into Friday's contest.
