Willows is 8-2 against Orland since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Honkers will head out on the road to take on the Trojans at 6:00 p.m.

Willows lost 3-0 to Yuba City on Tuesday. Willows has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Yuba City scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Orland made easy work of Red Bluff on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won nine in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Orland was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-10.

Orland's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Willows, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Willows was able to grind out a solid victory over Orland in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Honkers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
