Mansour Senneh leads Arcadia to victory over Burbank

Recap: Arcadia Apaches vs. Burbank Bulldogs

Even though the Burbank Bulldogs scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, the Arcadia Apaches still came out on top. Arcadia walked away with a 69-61 victory over Burbank. Given Arcadia's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Burbank is ranked 892nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mansour Senneh continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Robert Winn iii, who scored 17 points along with two steals.

Burbank lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Odartey Blankson, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds. Blankson hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamran Alborzian, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.

Arcadia has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Burbank, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

Arcadia won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against South Pasadena at 8:30 p.m. on January 20th. South Pasadena has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,501 points over their last 20 contests. As for Burbank, they will head out on the road to square off against Pasadena at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasadena is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
