Franklin waltzed into their match on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Chavez Titans get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. Considering the Yellowjackets have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Carlos Ayala was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Devian Bautista was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Franklin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Chavez, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Franklin beat the Titans by a score of 14-4 on Friday.
