Blacksburg put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Cave Spring Knights get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering Blacksburg have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Cave Spring with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jack Hanowski (2), Paul Distler (2), Alex Doyle, and Craig Huxtable.

Blacksburg's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Cave Spring, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Blacksburg and Cave Spring will both be playing Hidden Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Bruins will host the Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Knights will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
