Soccer Recap: Scotland Comes Up Short

Scotland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Union Pines Vikings, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Union Pines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in March.

Scotland's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Union Pines, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Scotland will square off against rival Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Union Pines is set to challenge their familiar foe Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
