Basketball Recap: Sioux City North Comes Up Short

Sioux City North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to the Le Mars Bulldogs on the road by a 63-45 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stars of the 69-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Sioux City North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Le Mars, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sioux City North will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Le Mars also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Sioux Center at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
