Basketball Recap: Burr Oak Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tekonsha last Wednesday, Burr Oak came back down to earth. The Burr Oak Bobcats fell to the Mendon Hornets 38-33. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 36-30.

Burr Oak's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Mendon, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Burr Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mendon, they will square off against Reading at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Reading will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mendon surely won't give up without a fight.
