After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chillicothe, Lincoln College Prep was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Chrisman Bears. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Tigers in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jaden Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Everett Moore was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Lincoln College Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Chrisman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln College Prep will square off against Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chrisman, they will face off against Excelsior Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
